The Regional Landfill and all Transfer Stations will be closed on the following holidays:
Labour day, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day and Heritage Day.

    Loads larger than a pickup truck will NOT be accepted at the transfer sites.  All residents have the option and should be encouraged to bring construction material to the Landfill where the weights can be accurately determined.  Shingles will only be accepted at the Landfill will NOT be accepted at Transfer Sites.

    Extra Opening (at operator’s discretion) $ 40.00
    It is the policy of the Waste Management Authority to allow Landfill and Transfer Station Contractors to open the site during off hours upon request for a fee of $40.00. (Payable to the Waste Management Authority) This will be done only at the convenience of the Landfill and/or Transfer Station Contractor

    Recycling bins are available in the Town of Provost, all Transfer Sites and the Landfill for residents of the M.D., Town and Villages.
